Gate Testing has been conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian institutes of technology (IITs in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) to receive approvals in civil engineer (CE), computer science & EC, BT, CY, EY, PI, AE, MA, MT, PE, PH, Mechanical. Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Roorkee successfully passed the GATE Exam in the month of February, . A large number of candidates appeared for the exam over various exam centers.
