Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple Tadipatri is in Tadipatri, Anantapur district. The temple is located on the banks of the river Penna. It is said that the temple is home to the god that is the god Lord Shiva who is represented by Ramalingeswara Swamy. The name given to the god refers to the continuous flow of the underground river near the site where the deity is.

History of Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple Tadipatri

 

The Ramalinga Nayudu of the Vijayanagara Dynasty constructed this temple in the midst of history. Ramalinga has cows and uses them to feed them. One of them started pouring its entire milk into an ant colony.

The cowherd was throwing an axe at the hill. In the night, Ramalinga had an experience where the Lord informed him that the cowherd had hurt him. He asked to construct a temple on the spot. Therefore, he built the temple.

The most important god is Lord Shiva in the form of Swayambhu (naturally created or self-created). In front of Vishnu, the Shrine has seven small pillars that are independent of the temple. If we hit them, they release the saptaswara (the seven notes of music).
