Candidates who are applied for the GATE 2024 can download the admission card for the same from this site after IIT Roorkee releases the online link.

Graduate aptitude test in engineering – GATE, the national level entrance examination by the IIT Roorkee has been carried out for admission in the various postgraduate courses. The GATE score is used for admission to postgraduate programs (eg ME / M.Tech / Direct PhD) in centrally funded Indian universities (ie institutions provided with financial support from MHRD and other government agencies). The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes in India. Direct recruitment in groups “A” positions, i. Senior Field Officer (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO (S & T) in Cabinet Secretariat are now based on GATE scores.
