Govindavadi Guru
A massive shrine had been built around the statue because the idol was thought to be exclusive to the temple. An entrance with a special design was built to the shrine. People who are devoted wait in long lines to get Dakshinamoorthy’s darshan. However, nobody goes to the temple’s main shrine.

Dakshinamoorthy stood on a pedestal arranged by a god who represented the turtle, eight elephants, five serpents, as well as the lion, as well as eight different directions.

Instead of the typical banyan trees, the porch resembling Mount Kailash appears. Even the normal Mulakan who was sitting in the presence of the Lord is missing.

The small temple has a single wall, which houses the sub-halls of Ganesha, Murugan-Valli-Devasena, Adi Shankara, and Shanmukha (Skanda with six faces), and his two wives, Bhairava, Naga, Chandikeswara and Navagraha.
