Types Of Karnataka Ration Card
The Karnataka government offers four types of ration cards to its citizens based on their income and financial status. Below is a description of the different types of ration cards.
Priority House (PHH) Hold (PHH Ration Card) Priority House HOLD Ration Card is given to citizens who live in rural areas of the state. The PHH Ration Card can be further sub-divided into two groups to provide food grains at affordable rates to eligible candidates. This will allow people to get rice at Rs 3 per kilogram, wheat at Rs 2 per kilogram, and coarse grains at Rs 1 per kilogram.
Annapurna Yojana Ration Card (AY) => Citizens who are over 65 years old and in need will be issued an Annapurna Yojana Ration Card. These people are eligible to receive 10kg of food grains each month.
Antyodaya Anna Yojana Ration Card (AAY) => AAY is issued to citizens whose annual income is less than Rs 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand). These families receive rice at Rs 3 per kilogram and wheat at Rs 2.
Non-Priority Housing Hold (NPHH), Ration Card => NPHHH Ration Cards are issued for families whose annual income remains constant. Families with NPHH ration cards do not receive food grains as subsidized rewards, like those who have the Ration Card above.

How do I apply online for the Karnataka Ration Card?

An OTP will then be sent to your registered and linked phone number using the Aadhaar number. Click on the ‘Go!’ button to enter the OTP received.

Apply Fees to Issue a New Rashan Card
Online applications for new Karnataka ration cards are free of charge. There is no application fee. The applicant can still collect their ration cards at the relevant authorities by paying Rs 100 per copy. Within 15 days of the submission of your application, new ration cards will be issued.
