About the University of Mysore:

A public university, named as the University of Mysore, is located in Mysore of Karnataka State in India. Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. Established the university during his reign. It thrived and started in 1916. This was only possible because of the works of Maharaja of Mysore and the vice-chancellor. This university was the first university to be built outside the British administration and for the first time in Karnataka. It became autonomous in 956 when it was recognized by the University Scholarship Commission. The university is associated with almost a thief of 12 2 colleges, 5 constituent colleges, with almost 53,000 students. There are 37 main postgraduate departments, specialized research, and training centers in the university. It is also known for a variety of employment-oriented graduate courses and many of the certificate courses are successfully started at the university.
