Subramanya Swamy Temple Pampanuru is at Pampanur Village in Atmakur Mandal in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh State. The principal god of the shrine is Subramanya Swami. Subramanya Swamy temple timings are between 7 am and 7 pm.

The past was when Great saints practiced penance, as did seven temples in the area. Presently, there’s just one tank for temples.

History:

There were earlier, many saints’ penances at this location. As of now, there are numerous temples within this location. In (1509-1530) AD, Sri Krishna Devaraya’s guru Sri Vyasaraju set the idol in this place. Then, the splendor of the temple diminished. In the years 1980-1990, the temple was restored to its glory through the daily poojas. In 2008. Ganapathy Sachidananda Swamy erected Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi’s temple around the temple.

Significance

The deity that is the main focus of worship is the entire group of Lord Shiva.

The highest point of the idol is Simha Dwajam, Vishnu Thisvam, Narasimha Roopam, and the Sri Krishna Devaraya seal of the dynasty. The middle form is Shiva Linga which represents Moksha and healthy living.

A Sri Chakram on the bottom of the idol is a representation of the goddess of Parvathi Rahu Dosha Nivarana, spouse life, and wealth.
