The main sanctum sanctorum is a statue of a man sitting next to Dhabranyeshwar with a graceful posture. The temple lingam is adorned with grass-like impressions. This confirms it was a grassy Darba forest. Lord Shiva’s name, Dharbaranyeshwar, is derived from two words: Vidarbha as well as aranyam (forest).

Some shrines are dedicated to gods including the Lord Somaskanda, Swarna Vinayaka, Lord Subramaneshwara as well as Thyagaraja. The sanctum Sanctorum contains pictures that depict Dakshinamurthy, Durga, and Lingodbhava. There are numerous sacred tanks or tirthas, but the Nala tirtha is the most important. Nala tirtha is essential for bathing since it is believed to get rid of bad luck and illnesses due to the past Karmas. Shani is the Lord of all.
