The Government of Telangana recognizes the overall growth that is occurring among the castes as well as planned tribes, but in particular the girls who belong to these communities, who constitute the least fortunate in the society. To achieve this aim Telangana’s government Telangana is planning to implement the program of “Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam” to all SC and ST girls married to for the purpose of easing the financial burden of families.

Criteria for Approval criteria:(A) The girl who is unmarried is part of the SC or ST community. (B) The girl who is not married has a residence in Telangana state.
(C) The girl who is not married must be at least 18 years old age at the time of marriage.
(D) The earnings of parents should not exceed Rs.2,00,000 per annum.
(E) Wedding of SC / ST girl is at or after the 2nd of October 2014.

This Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam cannot be combined with other scheme, like for instance, the Incentive Award for Inter-Caste marriage
With planned castes and tribes.
The Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam can only be one-time financial assistance and is only available for the duration of the life of the bride.

Then after an appropriate review of all documents conducted by staff, approve the amount that is to be paid into the wedding bride’s account as quickly as is feasible.
