Telangana University was established by Law No. 28 of the State Government in 2006. The university was founded to make university education accessible to the pedagogical backdrop of Nizamabad in Telangana. Telangana University was the renowned NAAC “B” grade with a good score of 2.61 in the first cycle assessment, which was conducted in December 2018. The university was originally started with six courses and was opened in the PG building of the Govt. Giriraj College in Dubba area in Nizamabad city.
