The Andhra Pradesh State Police Commitcation Committee (APSLPRB) was established on 10 September 1985 as a general inspector of the police and was appointed chairman of the State Police Committee (SLPRB). It has been set up to carry out an effective recruitment process. It is also responsible for all direct recruitment of non-gazetted posts in the police department. The recruitment includes various locations from Station Fire Officers and Firemen, Sub-Inspectors & Constables, DeputyJailor, Assistant Matron, and Warder (Male / Female).

Previously, the Andhra Pradesh police published the application for submitting applications from interested and suitable candidates for posts of sub-inspectors (SI). Many applicants applied for the notification and received the calls for the preliminary phase of the examination. The candidates are now waiting for the result of the written exam. Those who will qualify in the AP Police SI exam 2018 will appear for the physical test.
