Personal life
The couple was married in 1959 to Guddi who was part of an affluent Punjabi family. They have one daughter Vikram along with an infant daughter Natasha. At present, Natasha lives in Australia together with her family following her wedding.
Bikki Oberoi aged 82, announced in the year 2011 that his son, 47, Vikram Oberoi along with his brother (elder brother Tilak Raj’s son) Arjun Oberoi, 43 would inherit the “Oberoi empire”. Take over the world. This hotel is continuing to support the management of the business.

Bikki Oberoi was awarded the Grand Officer Award ‘Allawi Wissam from King Mohammed (VI) of Morocco in 2001 for her efforts in promoting tourism and improving India-Morocco relations.
Awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award by the 6th International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin in 2003.
In 2004 he was presented with a special prize by the Department of Tourism, Government of India in recognition of his contributions to the growth of the tourism industry in India.
The year 2007 was the time he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from CNBC TV18 for India’s Business Leader.
The year 2008 was the time he also was recognized with the Padma Vibhushan Award an honor bestowed to civilians by the Government of India.
