   First, visit the website – www.scholarships.gov.in
   Here the student can choose the scholarship for which he / she is entitled:

   Click on “Apply for Fresh” or “New User? RegisterNow” to go to the registration form for the scholarship.
   Here, the student will see the registration form page, where he will provide all the detailed information such as:
- Â Â Â Name of the student
- Â Â Â Name of the State or territory of the Union
- Â Â Â Name of the mother / father / guardian
- Â Â Â gender
- Â Â Â Date of birth
- Â Â Â religion
- Â Â Â Category / caste
- Â Â Â Aadhaar number
- Â Â Â Email ID
- Â Â Â mobile number
How to Apply for National Scholarship Online
- After completing all the details carefully, the students can submit their application form.
- Â Â Â Once the application has successfully been submitted, a 20-digit temporary ID is generated and released on the mobile number specified in the application.
- Â Â Â Students are obligated to complete the personal data in the fields provided for this purpose: – Whether for a student / orphan and the gross income of the parents or persons entitled to the education, or for themselves, if they have one.
- Â Â Â After completing all the details, students must click “Save and Continue” after which a list of scholarship programs appear for which the student is eligible.
-    Students must now click on (✓) all eligible systems.
- Â Â Â Here, the students are prompted to click on “Show required documents”, and these documents are required to be uploaded in scanned images of .JPEG or .JPG or .PNG or .TIFF or .GIF format and of a maximum size of 100KB.

- Â Â Â A self-certified photo of student in passport size
- Â Â Â Proof of income (DM / Revenue Authority)

- Â Â Â Aadhaar Map Details (Non-mandatory)

- Â Â Â Confirmation form of the educational institution: [The format can be downloaded from the website and should be uploaded after careful processing]
- Â Â Â Details of student bank account
- Â Â Â An application form, which can be downloaded from the website of the National Scholarship Portal and can be uploaded after careful processing
   Once the required documents are successfully uploaded, students can click “Save & Continue”.
   Now you must manually enter the bank details into the fields of the online form. Required information is via bank:
- Â Â Â name of the bank
- Â Â Â Branch name of the bank
- Â Â Â account number
- Â Â Â IFSC code
- Â Â Â District and state of the bank

- Â Â Â Now, students must click “Save & Continue” option after which they are redirected to fill the last details of their permanent address and current address.
- Â Â Â Once a student with contact details such as their permanent address and the current address is finished, they can finally submit the application after which a permanent ID is generated.
- Â Â Â Students are asked to save this permanent ID for future reference and to keep track of the status of their scholarship application.
