The Government has set up Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society in July 2024. The society also seeks to expose of talented students to the best education available.
Types of Institutions.
1. Residential Schools for girls and boys V to X
2. Residential Jr. Colleges for girls and boys equipped with M.P.C., Bi.P.C., C.E.C.
and M.E.C. groups.
3. Residential Degree College for Women – B.A., B.Com., (General)
B.Com. (Comp), B.Sc.,(MPC. ), B.Sc.,(MSCS), B.Sc.,(BZC), Present Status At present, 19 BC Residential Junior Colleges and 1 BC Residential Degree College for Women are operating under the direction of the Society. Colleges are situated across Telangana State. The teaching medium in the colleges is English. Online applications are accepted to take an Entrance Test for Admission into
Intermediate courses at MJPTBC Welfare Residential Junior Colleges that are spread across the State, for the academic year 2024, from the students who appeared for SSC or equivalent examination that was held in March-2024. Eligibility: 1. The students took part in X Class Examination 2024 or its equivalent
Candidates are eligible to sit for an Entrance Test. Advance Supplementary
Candidates are not considered eligible for admission.
2. 25% of seats will be reserved exclusively for students enrolled in MJPTBCW.
Residential Schools and BC Welfare Hostel Boarders.
75 percent of seats will be reserved for other students.
3. The annual income of parents or guardians must not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- for Rural
zones that are Rs.2,00,000per annum areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in Urban Areas. Selection: 1. Selection will be based on merits in the Entrance Test.
2. Rule of Reservation must be adhered to.
How to Apply:
The candidate should first read through the bulletin of information carefully available on the site and satisfy himself/herself about the eligibility requirements to take the test. After satisfying themselves with the eligibility requirements must pay Rs. 150 per month through Payment Gateway centers between Feb till
April for the ability to apply online.
