The documents that prove you made the payment must be prepared
As proof of payment, you can present a copy of an electronic payment receipt or a canceled cheque.

What happens if the monthly minimum amount due to State Bank on credit card bills are increased and the individual cannot afford it?
You will need to contact your bank immediately to discuss a payment plan.
Can banks charge customers a fee to allow them to use a particular payment method?
Due to exceptional circumstances, banks may charge fees for the use of a particular SBI credit card bill payment option. A bank may charge you a fee if the method of payment you use requires an expedited service or if additional costs are incurred by the bank.
What is the difference between a late payment and a timely payment?
SBI credit card bill payments are considered late or timely depending on the date funds were credited to your account. It is important to make sure that the payment has not been mailed late or missed, but that it has been received by the bank and cleared.
This can be done by checking your bank account, from which the payment was made. SBI should be able to receive the payment the same day, or the next business day, if the payment has been debited from a bank account.
If the payment was mailed after the due date, can State Bank charge a late fee?
This is because you must make your SBI credit card bill payments by the due date. A late fee will be applied to cheques that have been sent but not received or not cleared by the due date. You will be charged a late fee if you send a payment through certain methods that could delay clearance.
State Bank can post the payment to credit card accounts on back-order.
Banks will not post the payment to a credit card account late. Banks can however set reasonable requirements to process payments. If the cardholder meets these requirements, the bank will usually credit the card balance in 3-4 business days.
