Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad (TBSP), a registered society under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001, is keenly interested in the social, educational and economic development and welfare of Brahmin Community in the Telangana State.Securing Health Insurance has become essential in the backdrop of rising medical and clinical expenses. However, due to lack of awareness and financial limitations for paying premium, many Brahmin community families are presently out of the Insurance cover.

Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad after careful examination of the matter decided to share the burden by contributing 3/4th of the insurance premium to the Brahmin community families/ members situated in any of the 31 districts in Telangana under this Scheme.

Guidelines for the scheme:

- Â Â Â This Scheme is extended to such of those Brahmin community families who are not covered under the Aarogyasri Scheme of the State Government.
- Â Â Â 3/4th of the premium amount will be contributed by the Telangana Brahmin Sankshema Parishad and 1/4th of the Premium amount or Rs.1000/-, whichever is less, will be borne by the beneficiary family.
- Â Â Â The beneficiaries should be between 18 to 60 years of age.
- Â Â Â Income limit of Rs.4.00 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs only) per annum;
- Â Â Â The beneficiary Brahmins shall submit relevant certificates like Caste and Income Certificates, Adhaar, etc.
- Â Â Â The detailed guidelines of the Scheme would be made available in due course.

Selection:The selection shall be conducted by the Executive Committee at the State level.
The Chairman is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility/ selection process depending upon the merit of the case and his decision will be final.
