IIIT Basara Counselling 2024

Candidates provisionally selected for IIIT Basara Admission are warmly invited to partake in the certificate verification process at the IIIT Basar campus, in accordance with the scheduled dates for IIIT Basara Counselling 2024.

The first phase of BASARA IIIT Admissions counseling will be conducted at RGUKT, Basara Campus, following the stipulated counseling timetable.

Basra IIIT College, Nirmal, will administer a five-day counseling session for the selection of students for the current academic year.

Each day, only 250 students will be accommodated for counseling. Counseling will be conducted for Other States in the Global category, Gulf students, and CAP category students.

IIIT Basara Result Information

The provisional selection list for students has been released on the TS RGUKT Admission web portal of IIIT Basara. This year, the seats at IIIT Basara are exclusively reserved for students from government schools.

Only students who have studied in government schools have been selected for admission to IIIT Rajiv Gandhi University of Science and Technology in Basara, the only district in the state of Nirmal.

There was intense competition for IIIT admissions in Basara this year. Most of the students achieved a perfect GPA of 10/10 in the revealed results, which were based on internal marks due to the cancellation of public exams as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

None of the students who studied in private schools and achieved a GPA of 10 were selected. Only government school students were chosen, with an additional 0.4 added to their GPA from the 10th class. The list of selected students for this academic year will be released by the Administration Officer at the Basara IIIT University Campus.

Five-Day Counselling: Meanwhile, counseling sessions will be conducted over a period of five days, with a limit of 250 students per day, to ensure safety during the pandemic. This counseling schedule is as follows:

BASARA IIIT Waiting List:

The waiting list for the remaining seats will be released after the first phase of counseling. Students who have applied for recounting and reverification of their SSC results will be considered for the waiting list if their grades have improved. They need to provide the details and certificates of their increased grades.

Dear Provisionally Selected Applicant of RGUKT BASAR IIIT, this is to inform you that you have been selected for counseling for admission into the 6-Year Integrated B.Tech Programme of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, for this academic year. The following are the instructions for counseling, and it is requested that you read them carefully.

I. Report at Venue of Counseling: Report to the counseling venue at RGUKT (IIIT) – Basar, Basar Mandal, Nirmal (District), along with the original documents/certificates mentioned below without fail.

It is the responsibility of students/parents to make suitable travel arrangements to reach the university by 10:00 AM on the specified date(s).

Admission will not be given if the student fails to attend the counseling in person on the specified date and time for any reason. The seat will be allocated to the next best candidate.

II. Mere attendance at the counseling does not guarantee a seat. Admission will be granted only if the candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria, completes the verification of original certificates/documents, and pays the relevant fee. The selection will be canceled if the candidate fails to produce the original certificates mentioned below during the verification or fails to pay the relevant fee.

SSC Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate. If the candidate has already taken admission elsewhere, they can be given time to produce the TC within two days, or at the latest, provide an undertaking to that effect. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission.

Note 1: Students who meet the eligibility criteria for fee reimbursement according to the State Government rules are exempted from paying the tuition fee of Rs. 36,000/-. However, if they are not reimbursed the tuition fee, they must pay it before the start of Semester-II examination in the academic year in order to be permitted to appear for the exam.

Note 2: It has been observed in the past few years that the amount reimbursed by the Government for fees does not exactly match the fee prescribed by the University.

Note 3: It should be noted that once the original certificates are submitted to the University, they will not be returned under any circumstances until the completion of the course. Therefore, students should make sure to obtain a set of scanned copies or photocopies for future use before submitting the original certificates to the University.

Final Selectees are required to pay the specified amount of fees mentioned above (Rs. 4,700/- for those eligible for fee reimbursement and Rs. 4,200/- for SC/ST candidates) in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) favoring “The Director, RGUKT, Basar” from any nationalized bank payable at Basar.

The DD can also be obtained at our Campus on the same day of the counseling, for which the service will be provided by the State Bank of India, IIIT Campus Basar branch.

VI. Candidates provisionally selected for counseling can seek further information by contacting us from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM during working days.

VII. The candidates selected for admission should be prepared to undergo an intensive learning program at RGUKT, which will provide them with valuable learning experiences and contribute to a promising career.

VIII. The candidates selected for admission must sign a declaration acknowledging their understanding and acceptance of the rules and regulations of RGUKT at the time of admission.
