It is believed that after the creation of the World Lord Brahma was at this spot to meditate. Brahma himself was the one who created his own Shiva Lingam. It is a specialty that devotees give Ketaki flower arrangements and leaves for Shiva Lingam but do not show them, Lord Shiva.
